Associate Professor Dr. Marko Turk is a PhD-qualified pedagogue, university professor, researcher, and consultant with over fifteen years of professional experience in Croatia and abroad, spanning higher education, science, educational policy development, and institutional planning and organization.
He earned his doctorate in higher education pedagogy at the University of Zagreb, holds degrees in pedagogy and philosophy from the University of Rijeka, and completed a postgraduate specialization in instructional design for online teaching.
Throughout his career, he has collaborated internationally as an expert with the OECD, the European University Association, the European Alliance for Dual Education (EU4Dual), and numerous national bodies responsible for accreditation and reaccreditation of higher-education institutions and study programmes. His primary focus is on training for the development of teaching competences in higher education and supporting mentorship systems for young researchers.
In addition, together with his colleagues in psychology, he developed a holistic approach to professional counselling and guidance for children, young people, and adults choosing or changing their professions.
